Better setting and characters than the last, but still was a drag to watch them interact and make dumb decisions, again. I wish there was lesser corny lingo which has been a trend so far in the series, and the rich being portrayed as straight up psychos who zero empathy. Also the “resistance group” trope was also pretty half assed and neither made sense in the plot, nor on its own. Cuz if there is a resistance group actively fighting back the government, do they only do so during the purge, or even the other 364 days, cuz showing the leaders face surely must have consequences. I hope the elections day one is better, since that’s the one most like so far.
