Lesson learned: Step uncles are pretty cool and loneliness is a bitch

I absolutely loved the first half of this. The persistent music, the building characters, the calming environment. Then in the second half, the music feels do intrusive and the characters are horrendous. The score could have been for a horror movie.

Feels more like choosing to show a moment in the lives of a few people than having one big event that makes everything happen, which is quite interesting. I liked how it was very subtle in some aspects. It's really funny how Phil seemed to have this need to make other people annoyed or sad.

I don’t have words to describe this movie properly. Absolutely blown away by that ending and how phenomenally this drama unfolds into something opposite right towards the end. This is a master class in writing, directing, cinematography, score and totally defying the genre. This is also a film that will get even better in the second viewing. Benedict in supreme form. Subtly explosive - This is the best and only possible way to describe this film. Not only one of the best of 2021 but will go down onto my all time favourites list. A special film in every way.
