Very distinctive approach with multiple genre elements coming together towards the end, becoming more of a psychological character study of a kid growing up. So well written. THE PLAGUE here in my opinion was like a metaphor for different difficulties that a kid faces growing up, like fitting in as a teenager, bullying & other such things. All the young actors were absolutely amazing. So real performances. The ending is just so bloody good. I couldn’t have asked for a better character arc for BEN. I won’t be wrong if I say this is coming of age drama with psychological horror elements. It was a great watch.
