It’s cheesy and cringe-inducing, but looking at it from a family perspective I was pleasantly surprised by its sincerity. Vin Diesel actually does a good performance, and I enjoyed that his evolving relationship with the family wasn’t such a grueling journey. My kids enjoyed it.
