When a man chases down his stolen movie camera, the thief commits suicide by jumping off a building. But after the police take the camera as evidence, it becomes unclear if there was ever a thief in the first place.

too political feel like the movie was just an excuse to talk abt the political landscape in japan during the 70's, one that my uncultivated ass had no idea what it looked like. There is a very interesting story here hidden, almost adjacent to the poiltical part and in the end it feel like two movies that neither of them matures enough to be great (watched at 1.3x speed)
