Holy smokes this movie is lame. The book was never part of my childhood, but I can’t imagine Dr. Seuss would ever write something so shamelessly obvious, unfunny, uninteresting, and unenlightening. The only good thing was Danny Devito’s voice, and only then he was given a single zinger with: that is a woman?! (see: youtu.be/BEwlAyl7U94)) If you must, just watch that clip and then you can continue a happy life without the rest of this brain destroyer.
