The Scorses-a-thon Here Scorsese takes the conversational tone of his earlier documentaries and applies it to the concert film, intersplicing the interview segments with songs and moments from the titular performance.  I don’t know anything about The Band, but I did recognize some of the songs and quite a few of the guest artists. I think if I were a bigger fan of any of the musicians here, this would have hit a lot harder, and I probably would have loved it more. That being said, it was still a great experience, but I just don’t think I’ll watch this again.
