The boy Mowgli makes his way to the man-village with Bagheera, the wise panther. Along the way he meets jazzy King Louie, the hypnotic snake Kaa and the lovable, happy-go-lucky bear Baloo, who teaches Mowgli "The Bare Necessities" of life and the true meaning of friendship.

It obviously is not perfect but its such a god damn fun movie, and is just a true Disney classic. Yeah the story structure is kind of messy and there are some forced moments, but the movie just works really well for me personally. I love animal based stories, so i do have a bias, but the movie is really fun, the animation is solid, the voice acting is amazing, the soundtrack is probably my favorite from the Walt era,(Aside from Fantasia of course) and most of all the characters are all incredibly memorable, and and have so much personality. The elephants, the vultures, Kaa, King Louie, Mowgli, Bagherra, and especially Shere Khan and Baloo. This was a great end to the walt era, my god walt, what a legend. He will always be remembered
