The Virgin Suicides for Dudes
This should’ve been nominated for any and all Oscar’s and a24 was stupid for not pushing it.
I have two kinds of 5 star reviews: 1) masterpieces and 2) movies that worked for me on every level. They can be both, but the Iron Claw is the latter. Many of the movie's themes spoke to me, but Zac Efron's eyes and facial expressions did most of the talking. It reminded me of Brendan Fraser's performance in The Whale in that way. Just as similarly, I think the bodies tell the story here. And its such a heartbreaking story. The Iron Claw should be getting more attention.
