Maybe I just was in need of a laugh, but I loved this. Absurdly stupid funny, and delightful. All the costumes, sets, and props are equally silly and incredible. There is a moment where in the background of a shot, there is a caveman version of the Nighthawks painting. And I just know they called it Nightrocks. Also, the song and main love theme of the movie “This Isn’t Love” was written by Brian Wilson for the film. Which is just fantastic. Thank you, Brian Wilson. One of the most cartoon-like live-action movies I’ve ever seen.
