As a fan of this franchise, especially the first two, getting another movie is a welcome addition. However, as a Catholic—and not a cafeteria one—I feel that this latest iteration is another attempt of the cultist and morally corrupt Hollywood institution to denigrate our religion. In the original film it is clear that Damien is a product of hardcore Satanists both outside and inside the church, which I accept. Just the right amount of body horror, mystery/suspense, bizzare-ness qualifying into a supremely twisted horror film that is completely up my alley. Nell Tiger free is absolutely rocking yet again in a twisted genre after “Servant” which was one of my favourite psychological horror series. Highly satisfying experience.

Rosemary’s Baby meets Possession meets The Omen meets Suspiria meets Da Vinci Code …. But it works! Speaking of meets Possession, I saw that particular scene with my movie glasses on a flight and this guy kept walking his kid in and out of the screen as that scene unfurled. That was memorable
