Hooptober #10 of 31 Biggest problem was the continuity errors. Specifically with the amounts of blood that actually should have been on Ash. I mean he gets drenched in it, and immediately next shot is dry. Bothered me a lot. But the practical effects were pretty gruesome and cool. Didn’t love it though, but appreciate the effort especially knowing most things like this would be done digitally nowadays.
giggling linda still frightens me
I really like all the “imperfections”. You can really feel a sense of texture in the image and some of the sound feels like something I would edit. It has style. I just wish I had watched the original unaltered cut. Sam Raimi was 21 (my age now) or 22 when he made this, which is surreal. The ending reminded me of Multiverse of Madness' ending!
