I thought this was a really well made movie about how medicine, academia and even loved ones treat women who are victims of sexual abuse. Nearly every character required irrefutable proof before they deemed Carla trustworthy. Mostly the men disbelieve Carla absent proof (proof isn't enough in some cases), but more frustrating is the best friend who had Carla's best interests in mind couldnt believe her until she witnessed proof. Well written and well acted; the parapsychology mumbo jumbo bogged the story down but I guess it was necessary. The Entity's parting words got a big LOL out of me. The breast practical effects fascinated me. And finally. this movie deserves a second look post #MeToo
