So after Dish Dogs, I wasn’t expecting much from this one. So I was super surprised and impressed by this movie. The plot is about two college guys who plan to kill their roommate and make it look like a suicide so they can get a 4.0 and get into Harvard.  There’s not a whole lot to it beyond that, but there’s enough for it to be really entertaining. Matthew Lillard is deliciously evil here and absolutely makes the movie (surprise, surprise). Even playing a psycho asshole, he has so much charm. It pisses me off that he did not get the success he deserves.  Visually, this movie is great too. Why do these low-budget 90s movies look better than multibillion-dollar bla bla bla being made today? Because they were made by people with passion who would not be limited by their limitations. There are modern movies today that I love that don’t look as good as this or SLC. But SLC is on a whole other level, man. That shits a masterpiece.
