When churlish mobster Albert Spica acquires an upscale French restaurant in London, he dines there nightly, effectively scaring off the clientele with his bad manners. His wife, Georgina, is especially disgusted by him, and soon begins an affair with regular guest Michael. Despite their best efforts to keep it secret, Spica learns about their trysts, and he plots a terrible revenge.

I….hmmm… this is actually good. This film is a paradox of sorts, undeniably disgusting in its content, yet remarkably good in its execution. It pushes the boundaries of discomfort, but it does so with such skill. Its shocking and visceral narrative is matched by the brilliance of its storytelling, where every interpretation of the plot seems to fit in seamlessly. The use of colors and attention to details in this film is stunning, adding an extra layer of depth to the experience. It truly marked me.
