“The Shining” reference that comes in the end definitely deserved a much better film but the bonding between the kids, their performances makes this a nice weekend watch. Main issue with the film is some of the things are silly and far fetched. It also suffers from being a too generic. Most of the stuffs are done and dusted thriller trope in an abduction related film. What kept me hooked are the kids and an occasional tense situation especially last 20 minutes. Otherwise this is massively basic and generic abduction thriller.
