Trudno też przez to uwierzyć, że ogląda się na ekranie człowieka, który stoi na czele najpotężniejszego państwa na świecie i jest znakomitym biznesmenem. Wiadomo, że to tylko jakaś tam wizja reżysera o Trumpie, no i ma to być przede wszystkim film fabularny a nie biografia, ale still niektóre jego cechy osobowości zostały uwypuklone za bardzo, podczas gdy inne zostały kompletnie pogrzebane. Dlatego film działa najlepiej wtedy, kiedy wokół Trumpa kręcą się inne postaci, zwłaszcza Ivana Zelníčková i Roy Cohn.
