ALR’s outrageously twisted romance worked for me if not super satisfyingly. In a very simple words - It’s an exploration of an absurd obsessive love that blends familiar dramatic tropes while attempting to be distinctive.  This film comes under “Not for all” category. If you search for morally correct behaviour from protagonist, this is not for you. Climax is controversial. I like films that does something outrageous whether it lands or not. Not completely satisfied but interesting film nonetheless.  Undoubtedly ARR’s music is the best thing in the film. Can’t believe he gave his best (BGM & songs) to ALR this year & not to Mani Ratnam (Debatable). Then Kriti and Dhanush both were really good.  Kriti’s costumes >>>> ❤️😍 so beautifully carried throughout. She rocked completely.

Damn, the dialogues 🔥 but I didn’t like the story 😕

As it was a spiritual sequel of Ranjhana, I'll judge according to that: People have issues with second half only, but for me how they used the concept this time..., it was just vast away from reality and mostly full of over the top and extreme scenarios. Ranjhana had more grounded storyline which feels a bit realistic and it also landed the ending very well. I am just disappointed as of its connectivity with ranjhana. Otherwise it was decent movie with brilliant acting by Kriti Sanon and Prakash Raj and then others were good in their job too. It's a nice one time watch if you not compare it too Ranjhana... 6.5/10
