The only real sin is regret. I won’t say I regret watching this, but I am disappointed. I was hoping for event horizon levels of thrilling sci-fi suspense, but this is really just a B or C movie with a surprisingly stacked cast. The sets are pretty cheap-looking, but it’s shot well enough, and the performances are fine.  But it’s kind of a nothing movie. I like the effort it puts into humanizing the characters, but it falls flat when most of them die in the span of a couple of minutes. Also, yoked James Spader and Angela Bassett is a linkup I never thought I’d live to see. And I’m not complaining.
