It has become too rare to get this kind of a whacky and smart comedy film (Adult-y). Just so breezy bonkers fun from the word go. That smart spontaneity in comedy writing with added eccentricity that goes hand in hand throughout the film. Never for once it felt too cheap slapstick-y. Some scenes were over the top but brilliantly written and executed, the main highlight being the first elaborative hilarious fight sequence. And all four lead actors are on top of their game. I need more films like this. Loved it a lot.

Nazywanie tego anty rom-comem czy też unrom-comem to grube nadużycie, bo chociaż obiera okrężną drogę i używa trochę mniejszej liczby schematów, to ostatecznie kończy w punkcie do którego prowadzą wszystkie takie historie. Jednocześnie to wciąż nieco lepsi Materialiści niż sami Materialiści (poza Dakotą, która tam miała więcej do zagrania niż tutaj). Prezentowany w filmie humor zdecydowanie nie jest w moim typie, a mimo to zdarzyło mi się parsknąć kilka razy. Szkoda tylko że ten często jest budowany na absurdzie, który niszczy wiarygodność tego co się tutaj dzieje. No i papież Polak mentioned.
