Idk wtf is happening to me but this has happened twice now. I watch a movie and give it 4.5. Like the Odyssey and this Spider-Man, then I watch it again in the theater and I give it 5. Idk why. Maybe I just have to watch all movies twice to give it my proper rating. Oh and also, they showed it in the expanded 1.90:1 IMAX digital ratio even though the screen was 2.39:1. But since I’ve already seen it in that it was nice to see it expanded. Edit: Nevermind it’s 4.5. I just can’t give it five but it is so so close.

RARE Gem from Marvel after ages. Truly amazing amalgamation of different high quality experiences. Psychological elements too so well done and handled in a mature way, which I always find lacking in Marvel films. All thanks to Destin Daniel Cretton. I don’t think without him, we would have got a spiderman film that outshines the other 3 movies of Tom Holland era. Such a unique take. I adored it ❤️
2026 Ranked “You are what you choose to be. You choose. Choose.” I still love it. Maybe even more than the first time. I saw it in IMAX, and the picture was beautiful; unfortunately, the audio was godawful. It sounded like listening through a walkie-talkie. It did not deter my enjoyment. The guy sitting next to me loved it and was laughing the whole time. That made me really happy. I’m glad people are resonating with this one. I hope that the success of this movie will lead to better popular films not only from Marvel in the future.
Movie was close to perfection 💯 Visually, it's absolutely beautiful Every swinging scene and every SpiderMan mask shot looked spectacular😍 The pacing was great, but it honestly ended too soon. I needed at least one more hour 😅🕷️❤️
Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is my favourite. Didn’t quite meet the expectations I had in mind. And easily the weakest one out of the four films. Felt more like a checklist of fan services than actual story building; something that I felt was also generic and the average marvel cardboard cutout arc and beats.
It was good. Not amazing, but pretty good. The emotional moments with Peter and Jean were pretty good, and I love the moment with Ned and MJ in the apartment. Still, the hulk fight felt kind of underwhelming, the mutation thing felt kind of rushed, humour was kinda inconsistent. Punisher was pretty fun tho, I wish we got an interaction between him and Jean.

96/100 The thing casual moviegoers don't realize is that a Spider-Man movie becomes more likely to be objectively good the worse it makes Peter Parker's life, which is why I'm glad to announce this movie drags Peter through the mud so hard I'm surprised the kid doesn't have depression. I was nervous going into the film due to the large amount of characters involved. However, the film actually utilizes these characters very well, and keeps the focus mostly on Peter and Jean Gray, with the other characters feeling real while also fulfilling their narrative purpose to assist these two in their growth. Peter's growth throughout the film is great, as the age-old saying about responsibility is reinterpreted in a new way: the responsibility of balance, to be both Peter Parker and Spider-Man, both protecting the people he cares about while allowing himself into their life. 2 Things which I loved more than anything: Man Peter Parker sufferings are perfectly shown in this one & had better blend of grounded and superhero feel than any MCU movie, loved his interection with ned & MJ and With punisher as well,lol 2nd, Liked how they decided to introduce mutants in MCU, the one thing they carry with themselves is being seen as monsters when they didn't had any option but they were born with it on the other hand superheroes are praised by the people. I wanted this to be carry forwarded like this in the future...., Sadie Sink was a great choice and really liked her character arc too!! Another is, I Really want to mention the uniqueness Directior brought for the Spider-Man and made us feel for his character and indeed with many great & visually cool action scenes.
