The “good” Jim Carrey being himself Sonic's childlike personality Sonic making references was actually fun “I’m going to abuse my position of power” The thing with Dr. Robotnik not using his arm to hold stone against a wall Dr. Robotnik talking about his egg sack Crazy Carl **The Bad **In-your-face product placement (Olive Garden!!) Couldn’t care about most of the stuff that focused on the family Some hit-or-miss jokes The editing made the pacing feel weird, some shots lingered for too long If it wasn’t for the redesign, this would’ve been way worse!
A fun movie with some pretty abysmal writing. The only thing holding this movie together are the performances.
