A movie that could have been really good. I guessed the ending pretty early in the film. I guess it’s kind of obvious given the premise. But there was enough going on that I still wasn’t quite sure. I guess maybe it was just convoluted. It’s just kind of overstuffed without a real focus on any of its ideas. It could have played into the tragedy or the psychological aspects. But instead it dips its toes into a bunch of different pools but never gets its feet wet. Also, Karen Gillan is just really bad in this for some reason. Very amateurish. Maybe it was her direction, I don’t know. Just odd.
