My second foray into the Chinese/Hong Kong Black Magic genre didn’t disappoint.  Based on what I’ve seen, maggot/worm mouth is a pretty common trope.  Same with lasers and blood rituals to honor adopted ghosts.   So now I’m wondering if necrophilia and squid/human hybrids are common tropes in the genre or are they unique to this picture? I can’t wait to find out.
