Two homicide detectives are on a desperate hunt for a serial killer whose crimes are based on the "seven deadly sins" in this dark and haunting film that takes viewers from the tortured remains of one victim to the next. I’ve heard great things about this movie, but I still didn’t expect it to be this brilliant. So much to unpack and eventually worth a rewatch, despite its cynical end

I love good movies. This really feels like a full story. Like the writer knew and understood every character intimately and that every character had a life outside of the film. Everyone is so rich and full. I wish the ending felt a little better. It’s just kinda Pthhhhht. But overall this is such a strong movie. Mysteries Ranked
