I have watched this movie many times by now and it still hits. It definitely plays different than on an initial watch but it’s still fun noticing all the little hints and clues as to who the killer is. It’s funny and suspenseful and at the time was a huge twist on the genre. We definitely wouldn’t have cabin in the woods without this movie. I will say all the movie references did get a little ridiculous to a comedic degree. Like all the characters act like Randy is the movie freak but every character can’t go a sentence without name dropping some random flick.  But that’s just something I really zoned in on on this rewatch. It is and always will be 10/10
