I am no hero. I would have immediately done whatever this guy wanted, no questions asked. He wouldn’t have even needed to threaten my dad. And I know it all worked out, and I get that otherwise there would be no movie, but she seemed shockingly okay with throwing her dad’s life around. And for what? Her job and some politician? That guy was probably in the Epstein files. It’s definitely more in line with post-Scream Wes Craven, and it’s interesting to see his take on a suspense thriller. But I don’t know, it’s a little bland and half-baked. It somewhat feels more like an episode of NCIS or some other show like that. Not terrible, but kind of forgettable.
