Jason Kemp, a recently paralyzed architect, lives in a high-tech apartment filled with assistive technology. As a quadriplegic confined to his home, he passes the long hours by spying on his neighbors from his apartment window. His innocent pastime takes a deadly turn when he believes he witnesses a murder. Determined to uncover the truth, Jason continues to dig deeper - eventually finding himself locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

A well shot tv remake of the classic film. A much more tragic version of the story considering the plot and circumstances around it. This movie is so obviously completely personal and Christopher Reeves gives a great performance of a man who does not let the issues of his life inhibit his ability to live. The movie gets very creative in modernizing the plot and in its solutions on how to make a thriller with an actor who is actually paralyzed. Obviously they were never going to fling Reeves out the window but I think they are able to find clever work arounds. While it obviously can’t touch the original it is still very entertaining and I was impressed how many little details came back around in the end.
