'Pulp Fiction' conta três histórias diferentes, fora da ordem cronológica, que, mais adiante do filme, se entrelaçam, uma característica muito presente nos roteiros de Quentin Tarantino. Como de costume, podemos observar inúmeras referências a cultura pop, como os personagens discutindo o nome do Big Mac em francês ou o próprio nome do longa, as revistas pulp eram, basicamente, uma forma de entretenimento rápido, sem muitas pretensões. A direção de Tarantino é simplesmente brilhante, assim como a linda fotografia que esse filme tem, com takes incríveis, o que trás mais beleza para esse universo. E, claro, as cenas de violência - principal tema do filme, por sinal - são muito bem feitas e dirigidas. Os personagens, um diferente do outro, um mais carismático que o outro, são brilhantemente interpretados por atores como John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson e Uma Thurman.

Those 2 motherfucker had a full-blown conversation on whether it is right to kill a man who gave a foot massage to your wife. I mean, how sensual can a foot massage even be?🦶🦶🦶 The movie is technically masterful. It is an influential film featuring a non-linear screenplay. The performances of each actor are phenomenal. Also... never forgetting Ezekiel 25:17😆.

While there are a lot of improvements over Reservoir Dogs, that film felt more streamlined and there seems to me to be a lot more superfluous material here. Every performance and character is great and it’s pretty funny. There just seems to be a lot of unnecessary story lines (looking at you Bruce Willis). Don’t get me wrong, I like the movie. I just thought I would like it a little more.
