Set in a dystopian future, the film Primate Visions: Macaque Macabre (2024) opens with the fictional character Imago Organella, an experimental primatologist specializing in studying simians, apes and monkeys. Along with their companions, Xenomorphia and Madame Chauffeur, they free two yakis from captivity. Together, they embark on a surreal journey: they gather at a peculiar dinner where they eat a mysterious pudding elixir, visit an experimental biology facility, and explore each other’s subconscious as they traverse a prehistoric cave. Along the way, they celebrate the strange and unpredictable nature of evolution and knowledge, culminating in their return to Minahasa, where they face the reality of freedom.

retarded people doing retarded things - the movie seriously I feel like no one in this movie makes any logical decisions, but even when they do something close to that, they fail miserably. especially that veterinarian texting the dad, why are they so naive that they'd believe someone thats not even specialized in their profession? those are some of my gripes. the music also doesn't really fit, I get they're going for a campy Friday the 13th vibe, but come on it's a modern glasshouse with advanced tech. the good things i guess would be the suspense and gore. it works really well here because its realistic a chimp would be strong
Najlepszy element tutaj, to ta muzyczka która brzmi jak z jakiegoś zapomnianego slasherowego klasyczka z ejtisów. Szkoda że pojawia się na dosłownie minutę w samym filmie, plus na dwie na napisach końcowych.
