一開始有點想睡而且語言聽不懂（蛤 奇幻設定和整體劇情還不錯～

What a ride!!!!  4 in a row for Dan Trachtenberg including 10 cloverfield lane. This predator is completely different than anything else that has come so far in the franchise. It’s upgraded when it comes to mainstream presentation. It’s much more accessible compared to other films. But one thing I want them to bring back from other films - Darker side to PREDATOR. In the latest it’s a protagonist and it was refreshing nonetheless. Stunning cinematography and background music. Massive action set pieces with different danger points that was way too interesting to experience. One negative point that doesn’t have anything to do with the film - 3D was unnecessary for this film. If there is any format that I want to scrap forever is 3D. It kinda ruins overall experience. Kudos to James Cameron for nailing 3D. That’s the only time I don’t mind watching in 3D.

Predator: Badlands, much like Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes last year, seems like another attempt to bring fantasy-style films back into the zeitgeist. But given the current state of Hollywood cinema, most “experimental” films require some sort of ip connection to ever see the green light.  This is a movie that does not stray far from established tropes and ideas, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. Isn’t it enough for a movie to just be fun?  It does a good job “humanizing” the Predator, and as someone who has never seen a Predator movie, I found him very interesting. I like the way he grows and changes throughout the film. Though I wish I had the experience of the other Predators before seeing this, as I feel it would have made the story feel fresher than it did to my uninitiated eyes.

Usatysfkacjonował mnie jako spektakl tego, co można wyczarować za pomocą komputra, choreografii walk oraz scenografii zrobionych z postarankiem. Tyle z plusów, bo fabularnie - nawet kiedy kompletnie wyłączy się mózg i zadawanie pytań - jest to definicja przeciętności, gdzie nim minie kwadrans, nawet średnio-doświadczony widz połapie się ze szczegółami - co, jak i kiedy się wydarzy. Nawet poziom rzucanych średnio raz na 15 sekund żarcików łapie się w tę przeciętność, gdzie śmiało można je nazwać żartami marvelowskimi. No i druga sprawa nie do końca związana z jakością filmu - to po prostu nie jest predator dla mnie, bo wolę go w wersji inteligentnego, ale jednak zwierzęcego, plus przede wszystkim tajemniczego łowcy. Also serio kurwa jedna scena polowania w całym filmie?! To tyle samo co scen walk kaiju... Edit : Scenariusz do tego pisał człowiek? I to niby jeszcze ten sam, który pisał scenariusz do Prey? To musi być jakiś wałek.
