Wow. What an intense movie.  Some people say Magnolia is the shortest 3 hour film they’ve seen (I agree). But this one? This one was the longest 1 hour 10 minute long movie. It was a nightmare you just wanted to end quickly. Yet the movies pacing and editing made it feel so long and nightmarish. Now don’t get me wrong when I say it’s long. It was on purpose and well done.  Such a tragedy! Shot so beautifully.  This quickly rose to become one of my favorite Villeneuve films.
