I’m not much of a romance film nerd but if it has good ratings, ima watch it. This film was really fun and overall joyful but I thought that there was to much stuff happening in their relationship and the stuff in the end was not my favorite thing to happen but on a good side, the film was well put together and for anyone who likes romcom’s this film is great for you but just doesn’t float the board for me

it’s a visual treat. the camerawork is gorgeous, the color palette is soft, summery and dreamy, and the locations are perfect for a rom-com. the leads had amazing chemistry and felt believable in their roles, which definitely kept me invested. that said, the movie didn’t quite work for me as a whole. it is very very very trope-y, and a few moments left a strange aftertaste. and the climax especially felt pretty underwhelming.
