Can’t believe this is Celine Song’s debut film. Better to just bloody give her Oscar right now and don’t wait for next year to come. An instant definitive triumph that doesn’t happen always. The feeling of watching something as outstanding artistry as this is some other level. Lingering effect here is an ultimate treasure that I seek in such movies and I got exactly that - just like the lead characters who expressed a lot without saying, my few seconds silence after the film ended was absolutely worth the experience for any movie buffs like me. It felt so good. It said a lot about what kind of film I just watched.  It doesn’t get more intimate or naturalistic storytelling than this. Deeply heartfelt in every department. The way past and present are interlinked, it looks simple but the complexities of emotions/longing came out brilliantly because of stunning lead performers/writing/direction. Even understated background music compliments this and cinematography has its own language. The final 6 minutes long take was absolutely incredible. Tension, uneasiness, longing everything about this relationship oozes out in one sequence and debut director exactly knew how to reflect the same emotions on us - viewers. Everything was so flawless. The term “in-yun” is something to think about throughout my life from now on.
