In post–civil war Spain, 10-year-old Ofelia moves with her pregnant mother to live under the control of her cruel stepfather. Drawn into a mysterious labyrinth, she meets a faun who reveals that she may be a lost princess from an underground kingdom. To return to her true father, she must complete a series of surreal and perilous tasks that blur the line between reality and fantasy.

Sorry, I don't get all the hype. It looks really nice, and the 2nd trial was great, as was the ending, but I didn't really enjoy the rest too much.
Coś co mogilby polubić bracia Grimm, gdyby trochę zmienić zakończenie. No i może przechylić szalę na tę mniej infantylną stronę, bo film strasznie się gubi w tym kto ma być jego adresatem. Ale najlepsze momenty to majstersztyk, chociażby kultowa już scena z łysolem ścigającym Ofelię za dwa winogrona i ten najazd kamery na buciki.
