I don’t think I have seen an Indian film with this kinda audacious storytelling before. I have seen similar film in other languages like Tom Hardy’s “Locke” which was a masterpiece. One character on screen and single location. This Tamil film too is same but more focused on visual language and beautifully unravelling of the character’s motive behind his actions. It doesn’t always work, it takes time to get adjusted but once I got the film’s narrative style, it was superbly engaging till the unpredictable climax. Stunning Cinematography and certain framing of scenes has got its own language here that might give you something regarding the character. R Parthiban‘s scintillating performance makes it even more impactful. Such an unique experience overall that was never attempted in India as far as I know.
