My bf thought it was good, I on the other hand believe it's underwhelming. I think I was hoping for a more sinister telling of her background, as was told in the first film. I was expecting to see how she actually ended up in Saarne Institute; a proper background story. They did address that she came from Saarne Institute and then burned her "real" family's house down after the murders. But I was expecting a background further than that probing her darkest past. The twist was nothing short of probable. It was also kinda goofy how whenever she turns her back or when the scene shows her walking, it looks like (if it wasn't) a whole different person. It just takes me out of the film even if I already suspended my disbelief. I think I have just seen too many true crime films that it ruins these things for me. It did not work for me, but it worked for most judging by the reviews I have read about it.
