This had more scorched earth than The Boys finale. I'm still not over it :(
“You have to take risks in life to have an adventure.“ Ian grew up not knowing his Dad since he passed away before he was born. On his 16th birthday, Ian discovers a secret gift his dad left for him. A wizard staff, gem, and a spell to bring his Dad back for 1 more day. In the middle of bringing his dad back the spell misfires and only his Dad’s legs appear. Ian and his older brother, Barley, set off on an adventure to find a new gem to bring all of his Dad back jus in time for Ian to finally meet him before time runs out. Ian who is afraid of everything is always at odds with his brother, Barley, who isn’t afraid of anything. Through this adventure you see Ian come to grips that his brother isn’t a screw up, but in fact someone who was always there for him and played a significant role as his father figure.
超級好看,哭到不行
First off, I need to say that I have a soft spot for Pixar, even if they have been on a hit-or-miss phase recently in my opinion. I had already read negative or neutral reviews for this when I watched it. I really, really liked this movie! Beautiful animation, great characters and a story that has amazing set ups and comebacks. As an older brother myself, I could really relate to Barley's character, but Ian's journey was just as great and powerful. The humor in it was amazing too! I just really like it!
I had seen this one when it came out and didn’t quite love it. I get it now. This movie is a masterpiece.
