Thought the acting was terrible. Hated majority of the cinematography. And hated everyones “trust me, I’m a doctor”, “trust me, I’m a nurse”, “trust me, I’m a psychiatrist”, or “trust me, I was on the swim team”. Jarin was the most annoying character, but honestly they all were. Didn’t like any of the characters. And are we just gonna brush past the fact that the little boy and girl had sex and made a baby? Lmao it was so cringe and the least believable part. And if you don’t believe me, all I can say is, “trust me, I’m a movie reviewer.”

Right off the bat, people who know me so well understand that I love such twisted bizarre concept. Yes, M Night Shyamalan gave me that but it just couldn’t rise above certain level that could have blown my mind. The main problem with this movie are the expositions that really ruined the initial ambiguity it had. Characters were just throwing in more details at me that made this whole movie so predictable especially after 50 minutes or so. Maintaining that ambiguity is absolutely necessary in such films. M Night Shyamalan does that actually so well but here sadly he couldn’t get that mojo. I enjoyed all the science stuffs, hint of philosophical touch and how the ageing affects your mental state and decision making ability.
