Poirot is joined this time by the effortlessly charming Tony Curtis. Much like evil under the sun we once again visit another sun soaked locale in Acapulco. I enjoyed this mysteries plot as no one is really suspected until the end meaning really anyone could have done it.  Some nice shots and interesting steadicam work, this one might be better than the previous film but I think I was still riding the high of evil under the sun so the non mystery parts worked better for me. However it’s delightful to watch Tony Curtis who still has it (and can get it).  These made for tv films aren’t terrible but really can’t hold up to the theatrical efforts. One more tv movie and then the last theatrical film. I think once I’m done with these Ustinov films I’m going to start watching the David Suchet show again.
