I think the cars 2 poster in the muppets was an ominous foreboding that the sequel would a left field globetrotting shallow cash grab of a movie. However at least muppets most wanted is funny.  Maybe it would have been better if Jason segel had stayed a part of the production or they didn’t frame it as a literal direct sequel. I just wish there was a little more to it given the fact it’s probably going to be the last muppets theatrical film for probably another ten years.
