On Halloween night, Gonzo and Pepe are challenged to face their fears and stay in the Haunted Mansion until sunrise, encountering many frightening, funny, and perhaps a little familiar, phantoms over the course of their stay.

I’m surprised how low this is rated given how classic it feels. Not every joke hits but there’s enough really funny stuff to make up for any of the dated millennial humor (screaming goats). There’s classic muppet show references and it feels like a real tv special. Also all of Pepe’s little quips are so hilarious. This is something that is worth watching at least once a year. At least.
