When I finished watching this, I asked myself “Why we don’t make such kinda cool comedy/thriller movies more”. Vasan Bala is a treasure for these kinda movies. This had slightly Guy Ritchie touch, something like the recent “Gentlemen”. That style, comedy, cool shots, hilarious premise and twists. Though I should say some twists were deliberately predictable so that audience could not get much more slick twist towards the end. So I was never unhappy watching this movie. Adding to the already great content, casting is gold. Loved everybody. There’s not a single performance that felt like out of place. One negative from Mard ko Dard nahi Hota was that colour palette seemed artificial. In this that too was taken care of beautifully and as per the premise and style, it was shot and musically too very consistent. Overall a movie that for sure made me wanna watch more such movies in this genre. Vasan Bala has cracked the genre as his own.
