**Verdict: 🥈 SHOULD SEE ** The visual artistry at work is superb. Stop-motion, costuming, character design, sets, color, lighting, framing, etc. Visually this movie is a joy to watch. The story is fine, and the comedy hits enough, but it never fully stretches its wings. I’d even extend that to the soundtrack by Carter Burwell, which almost seems buried in the mix. Laika has some mad talent and mad grit, but they’ve still gotta hone their storytelling blade.

They'll change the world, and there'll be no room for the likes of me. Even in today's time, there are still a lot people who misunderstand progress. Fear of change is understandable but change and progress is inevitable. We just need to remember that we are capable of adapting. + Gotta love how literal Susan the Sasquatch is.
