Alex Garland must have seen Titane last year and saw the birthing scene there and thought to himself, “I see your weird car birth and I’ll raise you 5 weird men births.”
No matter what everyone says about this, to hell with it. They just couldn’t digest this it seems. This is #MyShit supremely certified 😂 no words. Alex Garland never stops surprising. This is almost like a one single crazy stage theatre play start to finish and absolutely delicious ambiguities thrown around every minute and that climax is perfect. Oh it’s absolutely perfect climax that justifies the larger theme that Alex is trying to point towards us throughout the film. What a ride.
