Any movie that starts with Brian Wilson’s favorite song is ok in my book.  Clearly a much more refined version of many of the ideas presented in Who’s That Knocking. Genuinely a pretty fun and funny movie with De Niro playing this total schlemiel and Harvey Keitel as this more put-together type who’s always looking out for him.  I liked it a lot, but I watched it in two sittings, and I think I’ll need to give it another watch before it all settles in. Great moments and better characters than his previous films. A better-made film than Who’s That Knocking, but in some ways, it’s also less interesting. Like it has less to say. Which a lot of people will probably like more.
