It’s a pity that the majority of film’s duration is uninteresting and heavily generic. Second half kinda redeemed it but it was not enough. Max 2-3 sequences that actually delivered on action choreography, especially staircase sequence was brilliant. Pre-climax sequence was gutsy and seems like makers paid a hefty amount to CBFC to allow those sequences. I am still shocked at certain choices there. I am not complaining for breaking stereotypes in this particular scene but problem is that I was constantly fed mediocrity which turns good things into some kind of a tiny flash in the dark.

Marco • (2024) A bloody tale of revenge. One of the best action films of last year, at least from India. Talking about the story, there’s nothing new, but I liked that there are no fillers or subplots — they stick to the main story. Applause for the two main leads; they are absolute fire. The dialogues and screenplay might feel underwhelming, but the depiction of violence definitely outshines any other recent film. I’m still wondering how it passed the Censor Board!
