One thing that hit me so hard by the time it was finished was not the story of Sulaiman as we saw it, but the behind the scenes conspiracy that took place to make Malik’s and his people’s lives miserable is what was more scarier than anything. You think you are watching Sulaiman’s story from different angle, but little do you realise in the beginning that you are actually watching the ruling government, his politician friend trying to take advantage of Sulaiman’s popularity and creating a communal tension even when there wasn’t any. This is shown in 3 major flashbacks and 2 of them shows the same events in different angles that defined the characters who are narrating. This is a masterful disguise in the beginning. You think you are watching the story of a guy becoming a messiah or a godfather but this is much more than that if you focus on the little details in those flash backs. From…
