Only a Malayalam film could make a proper character study/drama in the first half and then suddenly transitioning into a survival thriller in the second half. Though transition is not too smooth but credit goes to character build up and Fahad’s ability to convince his viewers that he’s narcissistic, racist and selfish. This kind of a stunning performance made that subversion in genre more sense in the second half. Otherwise this could well be a careless survival thriller without much of a character study with lesser actor. Even in those last 40 minutes Fahad’s performance doesn’t go down. Absolutely brilliant in making us feel claustrophobic plus technically it’s phenomenal. Don’t know how they pulled it off.  I would have wanted the ending to be not so predictable but nonetheless a beautiful ending. Fahad’s supremacy in true sense.
