太久沒看燒腦（？）片＋臉盲 事後看了解說才完全懂XD

One of the best examples of taking a normal revenge plot and execute it in a way that blew me away with a stunning non-linear writing throughout. So many different timeline jumps and it’s an absolute joy to tie the story/timelines together and everything is left for audience to tie them up. It’s cleverly done. Timelines even overlap. Nothing is actually explained or spoon-fed. Without this kinda clever writing, direction and editing, this film wouldn’t have achieved the same impact as the story isn’t something new. There were few unnecessary comedic parts that didn’t fit in this complex narrative. I can easily forgive that part as 99% of the film is actually brilliant to witness, the way story slowly unravels itself with zero exposition.  Vijay being great isn’t new, he’s expectedly amazing but it’s Anurag Kashyap’s performance that made me go awe. I knew he had an acting chops when i watched him in other films but this is his best performance of his career undoubtedly so far. 

Maharaja • (2024) this is the best film of 2024, that's it. The story is mind-blown, and the way it felt at the end is definitely crazy as hell. Vijay Sethupathi is doing crazy things—his acting is extremely well. The only thing it stucked at 4 is the South typicalness. Idk, but so many times it felt like a South typical movie, but for the general audience, it will not factor as much.
